Dr. Mark Poray completed his honors undergraduate degree in kinesiology at York University in 1975. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a doctor of chiropractic In 1985. During that time he won the Douglas Brown scholarship as well as the David Percival Award. He has been in practice in the east end of Toronto since 1985. Dr. Poray utilizes what is known as a diversified technique, which means he is familiar with several styles and will use the one most appropriate for the patient. In the clinic he sees patients whose ages run from very young children to geriatrics. For these patients he uses special gentle techniques. Dr. Poray is also very involved in treating athletes. He treats professional, elite and national age group athletes in many sports. He has treated athletes at the Olympic and Pan Am Games as well as many world championships. .He is the team chiropractor to the Toronto Rock professional lacrosse team, the Ajax Aquatic Club, the Brooklin Redmen Senior "A" Lacrosse Club and Team Impact Wrestling Club. He contributes many articles to professional journals and magazines. He is a frequent lecturer at the chiropractic college in Toronto and has been an associate clinician. Dr. Poray is a service provider to the Canadian Sports Centre. He is a Certified Kinesio-Taper (CKT), Sports Nutrition Specialist (SNS) (See our Nutrition Page) and holds a post-graduate diploma in sports medicine (ICSSD) from FICS (International Federation of Sports Chiropractic).
